Rise Up for Equity: A National Summit on Community Schools & Family Engagement
The Institute for Educational Leadership (IEL) is proud to unite two of its flagship events, the Community Schools National Forum and the National Family and Community Engagement Conference, to bring you Rise Up for Equity: A National Summit on Community Schools & Family Engagement!
Coming to Los Angeles, California on May 27-29, 2020 we’re excited to welcome you to this high-impact educational equity event that will cultivate collaboration and catalyze innovation. When you register for this Summit, you’ll be joining up to 4,000 attendees. We welcome parents, youth, school and school district leaders, community organizers, elected officials, state vocational rehabilitation, workforce development, education, justice and health system professionals, national leaders in disability advocacy, early childhood educators, university faculty, union activists, disability advocates, researchers, system builders and more–from all 50 states, the federal district, territories and around the world to learn with and from one another.
Creating the impact and equity we want for our most children, youth, and families, requires us all to deepen our collaboration and authentically engage parents, families and community-based partners. The Rise Up for Equity National Summit offers an incredible opportunity to explore innovative strategies, learn from your peers all over the country, and expand networks of support and action.
