Mental Health and Transition: Intersectionality with Other Disabilities

Youth with mental health conditions are often overlooked in the transition process. Oftentimes, they do not qualify as a student with a disability under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) or provided accommodations/services through a Section 504 Plan. What happens as they navigate through high school? Join us as we discuss research- and evidence-based strategies for ensuring youth with mental health conditions have the tools, resources, and supports to achieve successful post-school outcomes.
