This discussion session was part of Y-TAC’s Virtual Network series of peer-to-peer conversations for VR professionals. Special Guest Hasan Davis joined us for this discussion session to talk about experiences of systemic racism that youth of color with disabilities regularly encounter and implications for professional practice.

The Objectives:

  • To increase our awareness of how systemic racism impacts youth of color with disabilities, especially Black youth with disabilities
  • To identify actions that VR professionals can take to effectively support youth in addressing racial inequities
